What Is Unclaimed Property?

Unclaimed property is money that’s been lost or forgotten over time, including old bank accounts, uncashed checks, stock certificates, and unused gift cards. After a period of inactivity, lost money is legally considered abandoned property and turned over to the New York State Comptroller’s Office, where there’s no fee or time limit to claim it.

The town has been notified of a water interruption in the Robinn Meadows Water District. The Water Sewer Operator has been notified and is currently assessing the situation.

We will keep all residents apprised once we have been notified of the source.

Orange & Rockland offers Enhanced Energy Affordability Program (EEAP) Application

Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc. (O&R) has expanded income-eligibility discounts on gas and electric bills to more customers throughout its service territory. 

Previously, customers had to be enrolled in government assistance programs to qualify for assistance. Under the expanded EAP, households with incomes under the state median income and not enrolled in government assistance programs can now also qualify for assistance.
